A port terminal located in Port Chalmers.This one is a gateway port for Dunedin. You can catch the local bus in the Main Street for NZD$1.50 rather than spending cruise ship rates for the transfer.

The port terminal is located at Port Chalmers but a shuttle bus or local bus is needed to get to Dunedin (if coming off a cruise ship) due to the fact that it is a working port.

For a cruise passenger it is a long way to Dunedin. You must get a ship tour or pay for a shuttle.
