The food was superb as usual. It is a favourite place for lunch. Our waitress was busy but not once came back to see if we wanted further drinks or dessert. And the place was warm and friendly with lots of families. It was lovely

I had a pasta dish which was ok, nothing to write home about. There is no table service, you'll need to go to the bar to order. It's a cosy atmosphere though. Probably good for a rugby game.

If I could rate my dinner from last night zero stars I would. Probably the worst service and food in my life. I have been here before and it was awesome but after last night, never again. We waited 1hr for our 3 drinks. All our food orders were cold( must have sat on the pass for atleast 40min) and half of our steaks were still blue.. Cooked on the one side raw on the other sideNot medium Rare. Their ribs were sold out and it wasn't even 7pm yet so I ordered wings instead as my main with a side of mash. My wings were naked, no sause and came out 45min before the rest of our groups steaks, my mash potato's that I ordered as a side, never arrived and sure as heck it was on the bill at the end of the night. It was very busy in the pub last night with only 2 servers running around last headless chickens. They really did their best.

Happy with the wonderful service from all the staff. Grilled Chicken Burger was more than expected, and the drinks were splendid as well. The under 12 kids eat free on Tuesdays promo was welcoming especially for young families. Well done Speights Ale House Stonefields.

Great local bar & grill. Good selection of beers & always tasty food! Staff are nice & plenty of parking.Just went down for lunch and the new menu is now mainly pizzas, burgers & snacks. It's disappointing to see some of the staples, such as steak & ribs gone. Will keep an eye on it...
