Ocean Beach Kiwi SLSC - Welcome to Ocean Beach Kiwi SLSC | The Ocean Beach Kiwi Surf Life Saving Club has been patrolling Ocean Beach since 1965. Ocean Beach, an easy drive from Napier and Hastings, is becoming Hawke's Bay's most popular beach, attracting large crowds of beach goers during the summer months. Being an exposed surf beach it can at times become very dangerous, so a strong Surf Club with a healthy membership is therefore essential on this particular beach.

Cool units, roomy enough and well equiped.However, fire alarms went off on the middle of the night two times in à row and the (paid) wifi is at its best, unreliable

Attentive crew. Clean beach. Unfortunately the rinsing shower is a 2 man operation. Faucet string can't be pulled by the showeree. LOL.

Very nice kind strip of sandy beach so there is not head on head when is nice weather. No overnight camping.

Doesnt seem to be anywhere to get some food or icecream or anything here, odd considering it would be a really nice place yo take the family for a fun day at the beach. with the addition of some beach style stalls this is possibly the nicest beach near hawks bay. (actual sand not black stones like in napier)
