Food was good we shared 5 plates between 4 adults. Plenty of food. The service was ok a bit odd that children of customers were left to play on the floor and staff had to work around them .

They have menu with many options for meals. Staff is nice, food is brought up quickly with fresh taste. I see many people coming to take away. The restaurant space is comfortable, clean, on the table is decorated with flowers. Lovely!

I've been here twice now, food's comparable to places in China and it was the only restaurant in the area with regular customers in the evening so the locals must appreciate the chef too!

Ordered the Mongolian beef and it was amazing! Best Chinese meal I've ever had on the Coast! Top work to the easteat team for stepping it up a notch in the local restaurant scene!

Absaloutly awfull, tasted like oil and some very overpriced for out 4 dishes.I Cann buy 4 dishes in north island for $65, tastier too.

Was the only place serving lunch at 14:30 so we went for a lunch to this restaurant.Had very nice pan-fried pork and veggie dumplings. Beef brisket stew with tomatoes and a portion of steer fried chicken in oyster sauce. All food was good or very good. The spicy sauce they had went very well with the noodles and dumplings. The portions were generous.For the service you would have to ask for things (e.g. water) and there seems to be a slight language barrier, but, overall, we were very satisfied.Not sure why the rating is so low.

thoroughly enjoyed the meal. not totally authentic, but close enough. prices are alright too. we were the only people in the shop. hope they stay in business!
