This is a beautiful edifice. Of course it's the worshipping one does on the inside that makes it special. The recently completed remodel is beautiful and needed. It's had a completely different feel now than it did in 2016 when I was last here. You must be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with a recommendation from your local congregation leader to go inside. But so worth it.

Went to see the temple Christmas lights and oh gosh the most magical thing I’ve ever seen. Loved it, was so uplifting and wonderful to see something so beautiful and also knowing it’s the Lord’s house on earth.

We planned our trip to NZ months ago, including our visit to the Temple. I love the remodeled Celestial Room most of all. Subtle, whitened images of flora throughout NZ are on the walls. Look at the carpet and the design appears Maori. Look at the ceiling and see some very awesome Maori artwork. Obviously no pics to share from the inside, but the spirit is in God's house.
