Nice place to watch union or league or other forms of rugby plenty of parking but no toilet facilities open at the time of the league between the Putauaki Stags and Taneatua Kingfishers from the Taneatua Rugby Club. Great game tries galore. The stags may won on points? There was a soccer game on as well very vocal teams like they were enjoying their noon out.

Great place to begin the stretch down after 3.5 km walk. Great stump just before club house.

Nice park to go have a stroll and walk your dog, makes you feel right in the centre of nature! also a good place to play some sports.

Expansive park with Rugby/Soccer fields. It runs unmarked into the golf course and down to Tarawera River & Footbridge. Across the bridge is a forested track at the base of Pūtauaki.
