Not very much to see, but a well-informed docent and a lovely little house with a decent collection of local history. A bit eclectic and not very clearly organized. But there's a clear passion for the area, and it's well-cared for.

Cool old building. Great little museum inside. Built in 1879. Nice spot for stop and picnic.

Cost little house that takes you back in time to a village as it was back in the day.

Volunteer run museum and historic homestead detailing the history of the McNicol family and of the Clevedon area. Personal introduction of the homestead and history of the area given by Phil upon arrival. Spent over an hour there looking through the various displays, photos and materials.

I absolutely loved this gem of a place. It easily rivals the historical places closer to the city, with its park like grounds, plenty of off road parking & the volunteers who run it shared the history of the place. It was wonderful to see the huge old trees, & the old fruit trees as well, with the farm machinery & everything you’d need for survival on such a place. It’s Well worth a visit, & there’s a lovely cafe within a 5 minute drive in Clevedon

An out-of-the way museum with a very assorted collection on display. Several rooms are open that are roughly as follows: education and technology (so that has typewriters and cameras and radios), a household room (kitchen, laundry, medicine cupboard items), war (world wars and Scouts), sports and community, bedroom (items from assorted eras). Plenty of local photographs, some of which are photocopies, line the walls. Very modest entry fee of $3. Limited parking, but as there are so few visitors it seems not a lot is needed. Some items on display in the sheds or stable/garage but don't appear to be organised. No wheelchair entrance or path to the door. Most of the displays are upstairs so you have to be mobile enough to manage stairs. Staffed by informed volunteers and members of the local historical society. Well worth talking to them to walk you through the displays and for background information.
