Beautiful spot in town near the river and close to the shops. Loved waking up here and taking an early morning stroll around the quaint historical village as the fog lifted.

Yes, we enjoyed this spot. The river was warm and we found a great swimming spot that was deep and lovely. It was opposite the campground.

Simple site with clean toilet block nearby. Right next to the river which is nice. The town is very charming. Go try the Dawson Hotel for food in the evening! There is also a 20/30 min walk you can do which takes you out of town, over a swing bridge then back along the river to a road bridge near the site.

First Class Honours to Reefton City Fathers for providing such an amazing freedom camping facility. Toilets nearby, beautiful spot, close to town. Reefton has so many options for travellers you'll never miss out - PLUS this town us a historic treasure which has reinvented itself so many times and always succeeded. Visit gin distillery.

Great spot for an overnight stay. On the main street so easy walk to shops.
