Average countryside petrol station. Can sometimes get a bit congested with the pub next door, the popular cafe/restaurant across the road and the major state highway intersections right outside. Petrol prices are always higher here in comparison to other gas stations which are only a short drive away.

I went there to fill up my car at 3.30pm today. I asked how the lady was, and said hello, she said good. So then I asked kindly if I could please have 20 dollars 91 on number 4. She then said in a real smart voice Can you though?" as a smart remark. Now me being nice I work in customer service as a manager

Yeeesh! Expect the place to be expensive. But it is pretty much the only gas station in the area. The next one is more than 40 minutes away. Please take that into account especially if you are heading south as it is super stressful to drive through the mountainous areas as your fuel dial teeters precariously towards empty. My advice. Just fill up at least a quarter tank. Prices are cheaper in Tokoroa if you are coming or going in that direction. Id heading toward Taumarunui just fill up here completely at this location.

Cafe here has a few hand craft foods going past the KFC for. Brownie was excellent but the local cream might have been the true star

More than a fuel stop. They're also the local postal agent and During Level 3.whatever this was the only place I could find with post bags etc. Good range of drinks and snacks too. Great service as well ☺️
