Absolutely love this place - the Ciabatta, the Almond Croissant and the pizza slices are all amazing. Has become my weekend treat :-)

Christchurch’s best kept secret. Must be one of the best bakeries in New Zealand. Delicious sandwiches, croissant and a high quality bread, which you would find otherwise only in Europe

Don’t miss this place down in the main wee shopping area. It is a hole in the wall basically with the most incredible bakery and a small counter and wonderful staff. Where can I start eh? The coffee and drinks are wonderful and the breads and croissants are exceptional especially the seeded sour dough and then there is all sorts of delicious French pastries and cakes and then savoury goodies like amazingly different flavours of sausage rolls and pies. I can recommend the chicken and leek and mushroom pie and my husband loves the beef cheek one! Honestly you will not be disappointed here as you get quality products for your coin.

I bought a custard type pastry from here a couple of weeks ago and later in the day, I experienced stomach cramps and other symptoms associated with staphylococcal food poisoning. I hope the staff there are washing their hands. It was unpleasant. (No other food consumed that could've caused it.)

Went for a bike ride to sumner and dropped by to Bohemian bakery to try some pastry,as we saw all those pastry were kept in boxes without prices with them,paid $21 in total.Staff was nice thou.we bought an eclair,a cheesecake,a hazelnut tart.quite disappointed as bakery produced products,eclair was old and soggy,just filled with cream but not pastry cream,cheesecake I asked if it’s blueberry cheesecake and got a”yes” answer,but it’s just a very little raspberry in between the cheesecake and chocolate base layer,tasted not too fresh as well.Hazelnut tart was alright with chocolate ganache filling and maybe bit hazelnut praliné(?)under?not much other hazelnuts elements could find from this tart apart of two soft roasted hazelnut on top of some cream.Overall they meet as normal cafe standard but quite disappointed as products from a professional bakery.maybe bread and and other pastry products are more nicer.

The best European breads you can buy, I recommend the bohemian with caraway seeds.

It's essentially become part of the Friday dog walking ritual now, that on our way to the beach we swing by bohemian to grab a croissant and a coffee for breakfast. And you definitely can not beat them on croissants.

Almond croissant and blueberry danish were divine. Easy parking, entire selection of vegan pastries which is a rarerity. I’d go back again to try everything else !
