Great picnic spot at the lake, many fishing spots, a lovely nature walk there for all ages. We built a couple of sandwiches for our adventure at the lake, listened to the amazing birds sing as we explored their habitat in solitude.

Amazing spot to explore, beautiful views and so much to do. This trip we did the Sparegrass Hut track. Can't wait to come back and explore some more

A beautiful spot with lots of walking tracks. Many tui and bellbirds to be seen and heard. We even saw a pair of Tomtits in the garden of our bach.

Nelson Lakes National Park
We had an amazing 3 day hike. We started at Mont Robert car park and walked to coldwater hut where we slept the 1st night. The 2nd day we walked the waterfall trak up to angelus hut where we spent the night.The 3rd day we went back to the car park truoght the ridge track. If you have the chance you should defenetly spend some time at Nelson Lakes National park!

Perhaps one of the most beautiful places on earth. Simply staggering landscapes with crystal clear lakes and snow capped mountains. The huts system is also great, a really great place to hike, relax and explore

Stunning place! Like a piece of paradise in the world, just so peaceful and beautiful.There are many hiking tails, can just take one you can reach it.It’s cold here, will be a good idea to bring one more jacket
