A lovely walk from Bethunes Gully to Buttars Peak, which is near the Organ Pipes

The Organ Pipes
Fun, well groomed trail. The views from here are amazing and it was nice seeing the pipes. This can be a bit of a strenuous hike so be careful who you bring up with you. I continued on got wonderful 360 views at Buttars peak.

This is the best view of Dunedin you’ll get. Looking from the city centre right out over the beautiful Otago Peninsular. Not a long drive to get up there but be prepared for it to be much colder up there.

Cool volcanic basalt columns and nice views, right on the track between Mt Cargill lookout and Mt Cargill Rd (fairly close to the road).

A great walk and spectacular views. Wear good walking shoes as is slippery on the way down.

Quirky rocks at the end of a short hike. Nice spot to take a couple photos and head back down

Short and steep. Good way to see the Blueskin bay and visit Port Chalmers.
