Sports area including paragliding landing area. Good spot to view them flying above the gondola in light westerly winds

Beautiful location under the hills with a great view across flat chch. Playground is cool with a mix of old and new stuff and awesome bbq areas. Lots of green space and a big open few tennis courts with skate equipment set up for the public. Overall a nice place to spend some time

Nice domain to kick a ball around. Stunning scenery of the port hills and surroundings. The facilities are well maintained and looked after and work well. There is plenty of space for a barbeque or family event here. Very enjoyable

Great park, nice location, would be 5 star if the kids play park, paths and area under the trees that's popular for picnics had an update and general tidy up (cutting back the bushes that hide the bins etc)

This place is lovely and very popular and with good reason. It had a flying fox which is great, hidden sculptures for the kids, picnic tables, monkey bars and all sorts of climbing frames. I take my kids there quite often and it can be hard to drag them away. Hidden away in heathcote you'd drive right past it and not know it wad there.If the wind is blowing in the right direction the oval above it becomes a landing for para gliders coming down off the mountain.Strongly recommend.

Accessable toilet although always needs cleaning, flying fox, good range of equipment for kids, domain next door for a run

Great park for out 6 and 7 year old grandsons. Has a great flying fox plus the usual equipment, it's also a very sheltered spot at the top of the valley.
