Not good for parking, nice football fields. Was a lot of noise from the airport due to the way the wind was blowing.

Pretty good park, has lots of room to run or bike, plenty of exercise machines and pull-up bars, great for rugby and and other sports

Lots of grass. Nice and green. Can be a bit puddly if wet. Parking is good. Always good for a game of rugby

Burnside Park
A large park with open grass fields for sports throughout the year such as Soccer, Rugby and Cricket. A squash club and tennis club are also located on the grounds. A playground and public barbeques are found on the Avonhead road side of the park. In recent years various exercise equipment has been added around the perimeter of the park. A good place to go for a jog or take your dog!

Great place for anything, kick around, bit of cricket, walking, running, excersing.Popular place for Thursday night touch rugby, and saturday cricket, and training during the week.Great cricket, rugby and tennis clubs located within the park. They take good care of the cricket pitches and the rugby fields and the tennis courts. Which are open to the public.The cricket nets are awesome and well taken care of.
