The views and photo stops are awesome. Most of it is an easy walk. But some gets a bit tricky.

Did the Paparoa Great Walk. Amazing scenery, sunsets and sunrises, starry nights and views. Huts were great with much better facilities than expected

An absolutely spectacularly spot to stop during our road trip holiday in the South Island. My wife and I stopped for Fish and chips in Hokitika. While we were eating lunch my read how beautiful Paparoa was so we decided to make it a stop on the way to Nelson. The National park is breath taking. We could have stayed all day just taking in the beautiful views and salty air.

Beautiful views from Ces Clark Hut through to Pororari Hut and on to Punakaiki on this Great Walk. The Escarpment views are unforgettable (unless it is cloudy).

Nice scenery, not just the pancake rock formations but nice vegetation around as well. Truman trail for me was the highlight. This remote beach accessible through a 15min rainforest hike is so beautiful. You get a nice view of the coastline from this vantage point.

Lovely part of the country. Recommend checking out Punakiki cavern (torches required), Truman's Track & Fox River in addition to the pancake rocks.

One of the best bike rides, I have ever done. Lovely forest all around and good views of the river. The track is also really well maintained and up and down which makes the bike more worth it. A very enjoyable experience.

If visiting pancake rocks and blowholes make sure you check the best times to see the 'blows' . Free to visit. Recommended.

An amazing rock formation on our wesr coast. Never ceases to please. Best seen at higher than half tide with a good rolling westerly swell.
