Small airport with places to buy coffee or snacks. Check in was quick and waiting area provides enough seats. WiFi is free. I saw birds inside of airport which was interesting. Restrooms are clean.

Lovely airport. Light airy and very clean. Plenty of seating. Can be a bit cold, though, if you are here for long periods of time.

As far as airports go Nelson Airport has a well serviced terminal. There is a good little coffee shop and bookstore. There is plenty to see out on the runway. The terminal was nice and clean and the restroom taps are pretty impressive too.

Good airport, small is good. Parking is expensive take care it's $4 under an hour then immediately $17

Beautiful airport. In fact it's probably the most modern regional airport in NZ. Lovely clean amenities. Large open arrival and departure areas.

Nelson airport is absolutely wonderful. It is a world-beating example of the modern use of wood in construction. The decor is perfect and the featuring of the wooden beams adds to the positive effect. Every airport in the world should be modeled on this environmentally friendly efficiently operational commercial building.

Overly rigid staff member showed no flexibility over a slightly late check in and imposed a $50 00 charge to rebook my flight. This contrasted noticeably with a much more flexible approach shown by check in staff at Wellington when faced with a very slightly over due check in at that airport.

So convenient to fly in and out of this regional airport.Services are quite adequate with a bar, Cafe, coffee shop, and gift store.All the windows and seats are looking out to the airstrip and have very comfortable seating and even a play area for the little ones.Love that your family can sit in a window and greet you upon disembarking the plane.

I really enjoyed this new airport design and layout. Regional feel yet modern. One of the best lounge views around if you happen to have access. That said, the view on the gate level is pretty good too. Capacity for bigger planes would be great but might also spoil the feel that I enjoyed
