Hamilton Lake Domain

Anyone from Hamilton knows this is one of the best places to come and just be. Great for walks, runs and the occasional naughty green cigarette.

Lovely place to enjoy the Majestic view of the Hamilton lake and enjoy the walk around the circumference.Free parking at the site. A decent Cafe with lovely options.

It's a nice peaceful walk around the lake not to many people. Is well as a good playground for the kids

Just beautiful. So clean and staff very friendly our lunch was superb. Very popular place and parking us very hard to find. So drive drive around till you find one. Beautiful playground and popular walk around the lake.

Plenty of parking away from the playground but not much activities around the lake except to walk. Nicer views as you head up the hill towards the Domain but it’s pretty hidden. Pity it’s not concreted in between the pillars.

One of the things I appreciated most about Hamilton Lake Domain was how easy it was to access. The park is located just a few minutes' drive from Hamilton's city center, making it a convenient spot to visit if you're staying in the area.In addition to the walking and cycling tracks, the park also features a stunning rose garden, which is especially beautiful during the spring and summer months.If you're looking for something a little more adventurous, there are plenty of options to choose from. There's also a large adventure playground for kids, with slides, swings, and climbing frames.Overall, I would highly recommend Hamilton Lake Domain to anyone visiting the Hamilton area. The park is a wonderful place to spend a few hours, whether you're looking to get some exercise, relax and soak up the scenery, or enjoy some quality time with family and friends.

Great coffee and waterfront walks. An ideal glass-fenced play area( to keep the views) for children. They have kept the old concrete boats I loved and played in as a child. Enjoyed my half hour visit in what was a busy holiday.

A small oasis in the heart of Hamilton. The lake has a great walking or running track and bikes and scooters are allowed along most of it. There’s an outdoor gym area in Innes Common and on the city side is an amazing kids playground, Veranda cafe (always crazy busy on weekends) and a small ice cream shop.Awesome sunsets can be enjoyed from the northeast shore of the lake.
