It's always a fun night here. But the facilities are very tired and run down. The sound system is very low rate.

A great night out for the family. You can take your own food to help keep costs down. Easter had the jet car, burn out cars, demo derby and saloon series. To celebrate easter the Easter bunny came and wonderful fireworks for the kids. Take warm clothes and a rug at this time of the year. Racing on 14th May again.

Fireworks display at Waikaraka park is always amazing and well worth the admission - tonight's racing was a little less spectacular - lots of TV cameras and film crew - but nothing was put up on the big screen - which was brought in because of the speedway moving from western springs - but I would have thought if the equipment is there make use of it

No paywave facilities! Stood in the queue for 40 minutes only to leave because the vendor does not want to spend 5c per paywave transaction. The loudspeakers were so loud not even earplugs helped. Can just imagine how many kids suffered hearing damage due to the high pitch speakers! Enjoyed the show though!
