Palmerston North Airport

Lovely airport, but is missing one crucial thing for all lovers of aviation, which is an outdoor/open air viewing area. There are some great planes and sights to look at the the Airport, and for someone who has been on multiple trips out to the airport just to watch planes come in, load their passengers and cargo and be on there way, I'd love to be able to get close to the action and enjoy a cup of coffee.Something to consider :)

Small regional airport, but had the best service when checking in I have ever had at an airport. The ANZ staff member greeted my wife and I and checked us in before we knew it. Time then to relax. Great service. Good clean amenities.

The small airport is not far away from city center. 15 Minutes free parking for pick up and drop off right outside the airport building. One arrival and one departure gate. Air New Zealand is the only one option.Cafe with food and drinks is situated at upstair of the building.

Nice Airport and small 30min walk from centre of town.

beware of rude parking attendant and $60 fine, my driver drove up to terminal by mistake not knowing that there is a change in parking rules, he went past terminal and stopped at the start of a bus stop for 30-40 seconds to let passenger out where he was pounced on by staff, we have appealed this to no avail, shame on you p-north airport for not treating an out of town person with perhaps a warning instead of an outrageous fine

A small regional airport outside Palmerston North.Pretty stock standard - sterile, charachterless, and as unwelcoming as any other airport around the country.I'm not sure why theydesign them this way - to be functional and nothing more.Air New Zealand staff (fella) help and courteous when I was doing my check in. No complaints there.⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me re the airport itself.

Excellent facilities and staff were fantastic. Especially aiding my disabled spouse on and off the planes to and from Auckland. Thank You.

Nice little airport. Quick to get through, decent cafe, plenty of seating, a few shops and all the car rentals. Close to town.

A modern, clean, quiet and comfortable domestic airport. Customer service counter was very very helpful, courteous and polite. All information was spot on. Below are the check-in counter of Air NZ, Jetstar and . Jetstar is super strict on luggage size and weight. Only Dash 8 & AT60 aircraft lands here. Short, low clouds and wind greets landing and departing aircraft passengers. Relax offer book, magazine and sundry stuffs. Above on the 1st floor, is a cafe and offers a variety of food and drinks. There are lots of dining tables and seating areas to watch aircraft landing, unloading and boarding passengers. There are plenty of car park & 1st 15 minutes is free.
