Great service but poor product, sadly. The fish batter is too thick and comes out stodgy (second visit, same both times) and the commercial (as opposed to a nice homemade one) spring roll has a doughy wrapper and a lacklustre filling.I was hoping for a better result second time around, but won't be back for a third try.

Every time we visit family in CHCH we have our burgers and Fish and Chips from here. They are the best and most reliable takeaways we use. Better than anything in Blenheim or anywhere in else in chch. Can't wait until our next trip down.

Usually very good and a really good price for what you get, have had 2 occasions out of the maybe 50 times going there where the food wasn't very nice otherwise it is great, I suggest waiting 13 minutes to pick up to let it drain properly is all

The owners were pretty patient with me as they'd just opend the doors when I stopped by...and proceeded to order a bunch of everything. The batter was a but thicker than I like, but fresh and had a good flavor. Oddly reminded me a bit of Long John Silvers batter. Fresh, hot and about the cheapest food on the island. If you've never had a stack of fried pineapple rings, go get some now. And pretty sure the 'corn patties' are hush puppies if you're looking for fried comfort food.
