Tuscany in NZ. Breathtakingly beautiful, superb wine and cuisine, friendly and welcoming service. We had our company offsite gala dinner here and it was absolutely gorgeous. The rolling hillside, the dinner under the grape vines, the aperitif on the courtyard… what a dream setting.

Skip this one. No value for money. We paid $55 for about 120ml - less than one standard drink. No explanation about the wine, how it's made, where it's grown - just a tasting sheet that told us what the wine tastes like (thanks. We know what the wine tastes like, because we're tasting it). Pretty view. The wines were nice, but massively overpriced. You're much better off buying one bottle and enjoying the view. Better still, pick a different cellar door.

First visit to Stonyridge.... I can't believe it since I've visited Waiheke Island four times already! Loved their Shiraz and of course their Sauv Blanc. The scenery is second to none and their friendly cosmopolitan staff is international. LOVED IT.

A pretty place even in the rain. We wanted a light meal so went for the platter. It was nice but not much wow factor for the price ($88). But come for the beautiful setting and on a sunny day it would be even better.

Wow! The views from here are breathtaking. The real beauty of the island can be seen here. There was a variety of drinks here and they were all delicious. The staff was very friendly and the views just can’t be beat. Highly recommend visiting here on your next trip!

the most ancient building on the island, according to the guide who left us there. we fell on an autumn day and it was all you need to taste the oldest wines and have a bite. very kind staff and friendly, amazing view. what impressed me was the wood you put the wine bottles upside down, nice idea

Went here for a drink in the late afternoon before catching the ferry back to town. Queue was basically out the door so guess they didn't do table service here but there seemed to be a lot of staff milling around. It took awhile to place orders and stock seemed to be low on everything except wine. I did enjoy the pinot gris though and the surroundings were nice even though our table wasn't in the optimal position. It was quite busy so free tables were limited. I think next time it would be better to be amongst the vines or at least walk around the property.

Beautiful outdoor winery area. As it has three different cellar door pricing, people can enjoy more selections. We chose the $20 and $30 cellar doors experience and it was good to compare wines together. Loved that they allowed cellar door people to sit at the outdoor table whereas some places provide a standing service only.
