Small rooms, very limited supplies which are not replaced. OK for short O/N stays but not so good for longer stays. Comfortable with limited restaurant and good bar. Staff seemed to be OK and responsible.

Well-located in terms of distance to Christchurch, skifields and very walkable Methven town centre. Rooms are a bit dated but spacious and comfortable. Sizzling spa pool. Good for families.

Probably the rudest staff I’ve encountered in my life (the old man). We were in the hot tub and had asked the staff to turn down the temperature (unbearably hot coming from the person who loves steam rooms and saunas). After over heating in the hot tube my girlfriend was lying on the ground and on the verge of passing out from the heat. We asked for assistance and a glass of water and were denied by the restaurant staff. Sounds absurd, it was, horrible experience.

Been staying at Brinkley for the past month with my boyfriend while he is working in Methven.Clean rooms, quiet and great view out of the apartment, set us up with all of the household products we needed to get us started. Brinkley Resort feels safe and secure and staff are helpful and attentive, tennis court a bonus too.Thanks x

We stay here for 2 nights with 3 people, very comfortable n clean room, close to Mt Hutt n town center with a car. Spa pool is super helpful after ride snowboarding for whole day.Super recommend,Definitely coming back next time.

We hired a few rooms and the conference room for a company event. The beds were really comfortable, rooms were nice and warm and the owner was lovely and helpful. Highly recommend if you are visiting Methven. a+

Disgustingly rude staff, we asked them to turn the hot tub down and were just ignored. My friend asked again later and the old man at the restaurant said he would call the police if you bother me again" and they wouldn't provide tap water to people in rooms which they "didn't service" which is ILLEGAL in New Zealand.Would not recommend. The staff here need to learn what hospitality and manners are. New Zealand is usually so friendly and these people ruin it. I will be reporting the water insident to the proper authorities as this can and should lose a premise their license."
