Mt Lees Reserve
Through a wooden arched gate is a large expanse of grass with a play area adjacent to it. Across the grass is the beginning of the trail following the story of the monster The Grizzled Grist. He makes cream of children soup if he catches you. Ramps, balancing poles, steps, and other wooden climbing areas under the trees with a storyboard to read take you onwards to the end of the story. We didn't venture further than this area.There is a large carpark with a toilet block at one end.

The trip was a great way to separate myself from the ups and downs of everyday life.I totally enjoyed myself for the first time, I managed to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of Mother Nature

The path through the redwoods is being widened and sides added, the steeper parts are being made shallower where possible, and a new smoother surface is being laid. Extra cross drains should make it drier underfoot. Most of the work is being done by one man (and his dog)-I'm quite impressed. Although it's been raining alot recently it's so much better through the bamboo grove.

Lovely reserve for a stroll with an arrange of different plants to see. Also appears to be a BBQ area and playground for the warmer months.

So peaceful. Traffic noise but that didnt bother me. Lovely clean toilets. Amazing kids play area with a maze of reading a book.

Mt Lees Reserve
Lovely nature reserve not far from SH1 near Bulls. Worth the visit but signage could be better once inside the reserve. I'm sure the locals know every turn well to get back to the start. Well maintained grounds and love the new children's area and story book.
