I was disappointed with the customer service at this store. When I asked about a certain brand of paint, I was told I could go to another store in Akexandra to get it rather than explain what brands of paint Alexandra Mitre 10 had to offer. Strange way to help a customer.

Store is tidy and easy to navigate, staff are friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend here for paint, the staff member who was on the paint counter when we visited was very helpful. We wanted a resene color, as there is a resene next door to this store they don't keep resene paints in stock, this wasn't an issue as the staff member color matched our swatch and showed us what it would look like before we purchased. Was very impressed with the experience and will definitely choose mitre 10 alexandra for our next paint project

Went in for a new toilet seat. Asked the ladies at the counter for some assistance as I needed a top fitting seat and wasn’t sure if the one I had in hand was able to be top fitted. They looked at me like I was speaking some foreign language. Told me they can’t open the box and to go have a look myself at the toilet seats they had in stock - which I clearly already had. Then suggested I wait until Wednesday (this took place on Monday) to come back in, as someone with more knowledge would be in store.Hopefully there is an up-skill training for the Alexandra staff soon - sad to see that the staff have no knowledge on the stock they sell.
