Loved it! Atmosphere is wonderful, food was BEAUTIFUL and coffee was the best I've had in ages. Highly recommend stopping off for some poffertjes!!!

One of the best pork belly dishes I have ever had. Accompanied by sourkraut and duck fat roast potatoes.The DoubleDutch fries with mayonnaise and peanutsauce are fabulous too!

Definitely worth a visit (or more)!Tracy and Tom are great hosts that make sure that you're taken care of! We got a range of their food and really enjoyed it (snacks - Kibbeling, bitterballen (Definitely worth getting!), Frikandel - all of which were perfectly cooked and super crunchy, Bigs - Hachee the beef was tender and well balanced with the salad and Dutch fries, Desserts - Poffertijes a great dessert to share and isn't overly sweet (save room for these!)). If you go with someone that knows Dutch cuisine it can help, but the hosts are very friendly and can give you some great recommendations!

We went there recently and it was absolutely sensational! The service was fast and friendly and the food was delicious! We sat down and was greeted by the chef himself, which added a personal touch to the already amazing experience. We ordered the tasting platter which is very generous and the 5 minutes with the cookie jar did just the trick. I couldn’t recommend this place enough, we will definitely be back!

Took our gran for a Sunday afternoon meal here. This is a lovely place! Friendly people willing to answer any questioms about the menu. We enjoyed all three our meals as well as the poffertjie pudding! Thank you for a wonderful afternoon.

Had a great dinner at Dit with friends. Relaxing environment with the best food. I enjoyed the beef stew. I Highly recommend this gem.

On a cold and rainy Thursday evening, my wife and I tried out DIT for a dinner date and thoroughly enjoyed our meals! You are often spoilt for choice in Birkenhead, but imo Dit is a great part of the the bouquet of flavours out here.The hachee and lekkerbekje were delicious and the friendliness we received from the owners is always a welcome part of the experience. Give them a go, highly recommended :)

We enjoyed a full, three courses here. Properly Dutch. They're still waiting on their liquor license and it would have been nice to have a wine or beer with the meal but that's no biggie.
