Kiwi NAILS and Spa Takapuna

Absolutely love this salon, second time going today for gel x extension nails. They take their time, & make sure they look perfect! Would definitely recommend this salon && I’d recommend getting the gel x if you’re a usual acrylic wearer

Walked in with no appointment but only two customers - requested two pedicures (mum and daughter) - customer service quite dismal. No warm greeting or smile. During pedicures no eye contact or smiles - got the feeling the young girl 'couldn't be bothered' This was at Milford Shopping Centre. I usually go to a lovely Royal Nail Spa in Cambridge which is warm, cheerful and friendly, they even say thankyou and come again!! Avoid Milford

Came for a Spa pedicure which was done ok but very rushed. what I’m not overly happy about is the fact that only one staff member spoke English so every time we had a question or request… the lady doing our pedicures had to yell out to her co worker to come and translate.The staff are not friendly or welcoming at all. No hello, no smiles, nothing. Spending a lot of money and not even a smile or thank you and they have major attitude problems. Two staff members were sitting on the floor on their phones laughing in-front of customers. Extremely unprofessional. I have no idea how this company is still in business. It’s absolutely disgraceful customer service. I have never been treated and looked at so rudely. So upsetting when they make you feel like you’re such an inconvenience. They clearly all hate their jobs and hate their lives because this kind of behaviour is not how you should be treating other human being’s regardless if you speak English well or not. Better to go to professional across the way.

Extremely rude and unpleasant staff, takes appointment on phone and says they are busy when you turn up. After waiting for a whole hour they sort out the appointment error, overcharge you as soon as they find that you have a voucher as well and try to rush through the whole process stating they are busy. Very overpriced and lousy service. No value for anybody’s time . Overall a very disappointing experience.

Avoid avoid avoid milford salon. I've never experienced such awful service. The lady who seems to be in charge was rude and made me feel like an inconvenience for having a voucher. She seems like she hates her job, I feel sorry for her! If I was the owner of this place I'd be very concerned that your staff are representing your business. Better off going to perfection nail across the road, they're so busy because they are amazing. Just book ahead so you aren't left with the choice of going to kiwi nails because you'll regret it. Spend your money elsewhere.

I started going to this nail salon about 6 months ago. At the start I was very happy but lately I’ve been feeling disappointed.- Once one of the staff members was in such a rush to go on her break that’s she used the nail drill so rough and broke my nail. Then I had to pay extra to get it fixed even though she broke my nail.- the second instance a clearly untrained staff member removed the gel from my nails with the electric drill. They stared drilling my own nail. Now I’m stuck with thin and broken nails which were thick and healthy once upon a time. If you put an untrained person to do nails ask the customer if they are okay with that or give a discount!!- for 6 months there has been no loyalty cards??The staff are talented but the shop is understaffed which causes very bad customer service and a lack of care/respect for other people’s nails. Will never visit here again.

Never again! They are usually so good here but I had to pull my foot away three times because they kept filing my nails down even though I said I want to keep them as they were. It was supposed to be a shape and they got cut off completely. There was nothing left to paint or shape! I pulled my foot away and said they were too short and not to cut anymore and they tried to tell me they were already that short! Then when they were turning on the nail lamp they put the the lamp directly onto the fresh polish?? And then filed them MORE?! What a joke

I never had one of the worst experiences at a nail shop. Design doesn't match the pictures you show them, it's unwelcoming, expensive, and rough. I won't be coming here any more or suggesting that anyone squander money here.

No hi, no thank you, no contact eyes.I do my nails myself sometimes, and I had a feeling that they were laughing at me.To remove the nail polish, they filed too much that I felt burning.The bottom line is that I was paying for a service, but I felt like they were doing me a favor.I wouldn't recommend
