Lovely room although a little bit small. Contains everything you need (electricity, water and Internet). Great customer service especially the front desk can speak Chinese. Have a longe and kitchen where I can share my time with my friends.

Great style studio room, all brand new! I live in a standard studio room, from my window I can see the beautiful scene of Auckland domain and even the sea. The room is very cozy and there are many events held by the management team every month. I really feel that this is my home in the foreign country since it brings me not only privacy but also cares from the UniLodge team.

Very handy, many facilities for the students.very nice receptionist ladies.it includes activities and there is many discount for the residents there for joining festival or parties. There's good kitchen in the ground floor where you can share your cooking experience and big lodge will big screen for the movies and music as well as ping pong table to play. The room is really small but it's self-contained unit it has bathroom, small kitchen ,small fridge and TV. You will have your big disc and chair with a single bed.The bed is really small but comfortable. There's heater but not enough in cold weather. The rent price is expensive and no parking places is limited and you should pay extra for the parking. Many students there and it's really noisy.

TERRIBLE. DO. NOT. FALL. FOR. THIS. Tons of money to pay for a tiny shoebox, and the rooms aren't even finished. The ceilings are bare concrete with pipes running though them all. You can still see the markings the construction crew left on the block.

When you rent a jaw dropping price property, you would expect a better quality in there. The room basically is built for the hobbit. It's so ultra tiny even for a studio. The gym room is utter trash, putting a few piece of treadmill doesn't make that room to be fitness room. I do not understand what's point of having dumbbells when they don't even bother to get a bench. The gym is a shame and waste of space. Since the campus has a recreation center, I'd turn this into something more useful if I were the management. Lastly, the picture on the website is highly deceptive. The only good thing about here is the kitchen and common area. It's luxury enough to fetch the price.

Is it standard practice for unilodge to steal clients' deposits? My mom Nadezda Rybkina checked out from Unilodge on December 15th, 2017. We still have not received our $1000 back after almost three months.

Had an issue with the room when I first moved in. After quite a frustrating process of showing the issue, they were kind enough to switch my room. I like that it's pretty cosy in the studio room, has a kitchen, bathroom, enough space to put all my items and a pretty decent view. They have a laundry room, gym, recreation space and a communial kitchen at ground and basement levels. There would sometimes be residential events held and there's also a sharing system for vacuums. Would sometimes go to the basement gym here but it's pretty small and does not have all the equipment, so I just go to this gym for a quick exercise. If I have time, I would go to the University's Recreation Centre (gym) instead as it's a 10-min walk and the membership is included in our rent.

Update: As my review explained about an incident involving basis they took great lengths to get in touch with me and have a meeting offering some ways to attempt to resolve the issue, I commend them on suggesting restorative justice. There may have been many contributing factors to this incident however I still feel strongly that this should remain published. I commend the ability to take this incident seriously and provide more clarity for all parties involved.I would have given this a five star rating... until I witnessed the way that an employee treated my non-white friend far different than I have ever been treated here. Rooms are nice, far larger than what I was expecting (from a city that packs students in tight) if anything has an issue they will fix it quickly (only if you email them not if you fill out the form online) But then I had a bad experience with one of the employees, one of my friends came to pick me up from my residence and pulled into the car park (there were 4 spaces open) I got in and we were chatting before we would leave. The guy came up very aggressively told us to leave and quite frankly seemed to have been much harsher to my friend because he was black. I was astonished and so ashamed because the employee also happened to be of my nationality. My friend was very polite explained that we would be leaving soon and apologised, he continued sternly to tell us to leave and threatened to call the tow truck... we were have a not even a FIVE MINUTE conversation catching up. We were doing nothing wrong minding our own business no alcohol no smoking just chatting in one of four other open spaces in the evening. I have seen Ubers wait there for longer. So disappointed in the blatant form of prejudice and racism, regardless if those were the rules that we cant park there it was causing no harm and he should have been far more polite. He loomed over us until we were completely out of the parking lot! I cannot speak from experience if this is a safe place to live if you are not white but I would definitely ask around to make sure it is a safe supportive space before you chose to live someplace in general.

They overcharged me $450 NZD. Also, the place is definitely not a STUDENT ACCOMMODATION!!
