Food and coffee fabulous. I had the big breakfast and my beloved the tomatoes on toast (w/ Salmon). Possibly a new or at least inexperienced person at the counter who didn’t know the menu items terribly well, but a minor issue for us.

Good coffee, quick stop for a coffee and a scone, but worth more time if you have time to stay. Friendly service and welcoming.

Came with no expectation and left very wowed.My chicken (pictured) was American route 66 roadside diner except with finesse and practiced perfection in presentation.I cannot wait to be back in NZ and brunch here again.

We went to Moxi for the first time today. The food was not very good. Creamy mushrooms. Tasteless on soggy sour dough, barely warm and paid $5 for two miniature slices of bacon that had been incinerated. Chicken waffle thing was crispy fried chicken, creamy and sweet sauce, berries and caramel?. Mmm strange combo in a not good way.Won't return.

Stopped in here for brekkie. The food was so good. The service was outstanding. I would go back to Ohope just to eat here again, 10/10!

Arrived at the cafe early while it wasn't busy. My families breakfast came out besides mine. Mini chicken sliders chicken was tough and my son could barely chew through it. Then noticed others who came in after us breakfasts arrive and saw them leave and I am still waiting. My family finished their food and 40 minutes later still no food. Asked for a refund and left. Won't ever see me again.

Went today (Sunday morning) waited 40 minutes for a coffee. When I went and spoke to the chef who said she was the manager I was met with an extremely rude lady. I asked why my coffee was taking 40 minutes and she said she was busy. I alluded to the fact that I counted 8 empty tables and she told me her version of busy was different to my version of busy. Was extremely rude in telling me this with a terrible tone in her voice. Overall terrible experience and will be taking my future business across the Rd where you are actually treated with respect. This place has consistently raised its prices and dropped its quality after the last couple years. Better off taking your business to “The Quay” across the Rd or the “Port Ohope General store and cafe” down the road.
