Horrible service the lady was really nice however i was in line waiting to pay when the other lady serving took the next persons order and then got them to pay before i did which i thought was rude as i had been standing there clearly waiting to pay (with my card in my hand which i thought was a clear indication that i still had to pay but obviously not). We got chips ($3.50) and a toastie ($5.00) pancakes ($15.00) and Nachos ($16.50) and a Milkshake ($5.00).First things first the chips were terrible and so rubbery and cold, i wouldn't get them myself as just looking at them you could tell they had been there all day, eating one of them confirmed that. Next the nachos very bland had no flavour like you would expect from nachos. I didn't mind the nacho chips but the mince was not good at all, so what im saying is the one thing i liked about them would of been from a packet. But its not all bad the pancakes and the toastie were really good i was told so there are some positives also the milkshake was really good nice and cold and lots of favouring syrup. Would not go again however.

What a lovely store. Have driven past a million times on main road, and this time needed to call in for a desperate coffee. I will return again for sure, to support the little guy, rather than just a chain. Great food selection including gluten free, something for everyone - sweets, hot, cold, lovely bakery items. And great coffee including an array of milks for the fussy. Love it. Delicious. See you again.

If u r traveling towards Timaru from Ashburton, this is before the 70km/h zone. It has got free onsite parking by the building in an allocated space. If not, always on street parking is an option. Outside seating are available. Coffee, tea, pastry, cakes etc are available. To customer toilets u will have to access from outside. Customer service was good and the food too was good enough. As their name on the building doesn't highlight itself as that is not a contrasting colour against the building colour, watch out for a ash coloured cup of tea on a white circle.

The coffee was nice, but the sausage roll had been in the warmer a bit too long. A bowl of water in the warmer might help.

Situated on a very busy road outside dining is miserable. Overall this place has the feel of McDonald's cafe.

Nice people, but honestly undrinkable coffee. Taste like the coffee beans have been out of the bag since 2015. And you can find better pies at the service station down the road…

Friendly staff, good parking. The food was acceptable - pie had no chewy bits, which is always a good thing. Not sure I'd return though.
