We left after being spoken down to due to the fact that we weren't buying industrial amounts of timber (still $400 worth of timber though). We went to Mitre 10 just down the road, where it was both cheaper and the team were amazingly friendly!

Excellent service and really impressed with Glen in the timber department, really knew his stuff, and found out he is a carpenter!!! so that really helped. I have spent over $20k with Tumu

So slow, always takes so long to get through the counter. Alright place just don't go there if you are in any sort of hurry. I guess most builders are charging the customer for picking up materials so I doesn't matter if they take all day.
