A huge thank you to the team at Rich Landscapes for consistently pushing developments of skateparks across the country. The support for the skate community is huge, thanks to the team for all the parks created throughout NZ.

RICH Landscapes has really increased the benchmark for quality of skateparks in NZ, both in terms of quality and in design. We often plan our roadtrip stops based on towns that have been blessed with RL skateparks. Tokoroa is one of our favourites, good flow and interesting features!

Rich Landscapes brings a top quality and modern approach to the design and build of skateparks in NZ. Rich Landscapes is doing great things for NZ Skateboarding..

I’m absolutely head over heels at the quality of the William Nelson skatepark in Hastings, designed by Rich Landscapes. I roller skate and I’ve tried quite a number of outdoor concrete skateparks in my home country of Denmark, and I can honestly say that to me, none compare to the brilliance put into the design of this park. There are so many different facilities to accommodate skaters of all skill levels, as well as obstacles designed going from easy to hard, making it easy as a skater to progress smoothly. The “lines” throughout the park are also intelligently thought through making it easy for many skaters to use this relatively small space at the same time. The surfaces are smooth with an amazing grip. Last but not least - it’s really beautiful, with many incorporated colours and architectural lines that are pleasing to the eye, as well as conceptual ideas that tie the park to the history and landscape of Hastings and Hawke’s Bay. This is hands down just an amazing skatepark.

RICH Landscapes has done amazing work through out the whole country, they have been hands on with all projects and work around the locals ideas, they have done amazing work in Whangarei with the Onerahi skatepark and are doing a great job with our main skatepark Riverside skatepark which is in the making in 2021

RICH Landscapes skateparks are off the hook! Fun and creative designs for all levels of skateboarding. I love the unique, artistic pieces they incorporate in their designs like the Levi Hawken motif at the recently upgraded Te Atatu park or the tall wall ride feature that reflects the mountain peak in the distance at Tokoroa park.Some councils don't offer up much money for skateparks and often locals have to raise their own funds but these guys always seem to do their best with what money is available. And when you go to a park where the budget is big (Napier, Tokoroa, Mangawhai, Hastings to name a few) you're in for a treat!!If you're lucky every now and then you might catch Richard himself demonstrating his own designs potential.
