Roscos Milford Sound Kayaks
Rosco and Ollie picked us up from TeAnau, and we had such a remarkable experience on the way up for the Day Safari, stopping off along the way there and back made it such a valuable experience and allowed for some great extra photos, Ollie was a great guide both on the way and on the water as well! We would highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants something different from your trip to Milford Sound

We had the best time kayaking today! We had Matt as our guide, and we were very lucky to be the only two people on the tour.I was incredibly nervous, and Matt made me feel comfortable and we went at our own pace. His knowledge and experience and the love for his job shows through.We did a cruise in Milford pre-Covid and thought doing the kayaks would be something different, and boy was it! It was so calming floating down the Arthur river taking in the breathtaking views was amazing.Definitely will be back one day!

Highly recommend. Thanks Maria and Kelly for the unforgettable experience. I just wished we would have gone further away in the Fjord but I guess the sea conditions weren’t as great that day. Still an awesome day in Milford.

Fantastic experience to see Milford Sound from the water. Organization was great, all equipment -including clothing- is available and the guides are very entertaining. Maria Mos" was my guide and she is just an awesome person. I am travelling alone and would have preferred to get a one person kajak instead of one for two

Roscos kayaks is great kayaking trip and the best way to see Milford sound by water. We had a great day out on the water and had all sorts of weather! We also saw seals and dolphins. (and subsequently filming with Rosco and his team the following couple days was also a good experience)

Brilliant kayaking and set up; the guides are absolutely hilarious and the sunriser trip is paced perfectly so that you never feel exhausted even after hours of paddling. Educational and once in a life time; absolutely do not miss this one. You also get to feel extra fashionable and warm in all the gear!

This trip was worth every cent and minute! The option to get transportation from Te Anau meant extra stops and info on the area on the way. They provided all the warm and waterproof gear we needed, were professional, personable, and fun, and time on the water up close to nature was breathtaking. Highly recommend!

Nice local company that still runs tours over the winter months. Good gear and great guide! The Sunriser Classic was a great paddle part way around the sound. The views are stunning and wildlife abundant. Best way to see Milford Sound!

Fantastic day on the water with Austin. He took our group out on the Stirling Sunriser trip. We even got to sail a little bit when rafted together. We were blessed with perfect weather. Note there is a parking area right next to the kayak spot. If that’s full, maybe the lot at the deepwater basin road turnoff has space (also free). Wonderful company and friendly staff. They’re doing the best they can as they ramp up after the long covid downturn. With our nice weather, the paddling was pretty easy for the 3ish hours we were out. Can definitely understand how rougher seas would require proper paddling experience.
