Point Taken is impeccable. The customer service is friendly and knowledgable and more importantly the food is delicious. In fact, you can tell that is prepared with care. The fish always tastes deliciously fresh as if it had just been yanked out the ocean. The batter is light crisp and seasoned to suit. The gourmet steak burger is melt in your mouth delight perfectly prepared. This place definitely deserves your patronage. Thanks for high quality food! Got fresh and tasty!

Nice chunky snapper fillets, crunchy golden, and crispy crinkle cut chips. Reasonable price, as costs have gone up everywhere. We got the snapper box (2 snapper, 2 squid ring, 1 sauce, 1 chips and 600 ml drink for around $25). Will go again.

Overcooked chips, fritters, (1small) hoki and wontons. Burger patty had burnt flavor, and lettuce seemed to have been cooked with it. Egg seemed dried up and shrivelled and trying to hide in there. One of the worst burgers I have had.

I had the chips, but they were awesome. Golden and crunchie on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside.I've had to update my review after the I had the saddest looking burger I've ever seen.An update to my update after trying the crumbed fish. From 2 star to 3 star. The crumbed fish was nice and crispy on the outside, big size and not oily. Noice!

Too Expensive. No bang for buck.Blase service. Soggy chips and fatty fish.Dull atmosphere. An example of a boring business, taking advantage of a beautiful, entitled area.Could be so much.Improvement needed!

This place used to be good. I don't know if it has new owners or something but tonight was pretty bad. Terrible service from the guy taking my order, understandably I was on the phone but took the phone away to make the order etc. Paid $4.20 for 2 scoops of chips and got home to what looks like $8.40 for ONE scoop...... incredibly overpriced for what you get and the service has gotten pretty bad. Not happy and probably won't be returning after that. Was a weekly customer too...

We have been getting excellent takeaways from this place for years. One of the outstanding things we always loved was their big juicy chips - it was almost like they were hand-cut.Tonight we ended up throwing the chips in the bin. They have changed to crinkle cut chips which are dry and very much like the oven chips you get from the supermarket. Maybe it was a cost cutting exercise to change to these but we will vote with our feet. Last time we frequent this place. When you pay so much to eat out, you can expect some quality in what you get.

I've had a few meals from here and they get more and more underwhelming. Potato fritters are so thinly sliced that you can see through them and have more oil than potato. Burgers are tasteless and minimal. At $8.50 a burger, one would expect better value for money. Chips leave an oily residue - this was a nice place but has gone downhill over the year...
