Tutaki Cafe
Our second breakfast at Tutaki Cafe and the food was delicious. Scrambled eggs with a very generous side of beautifully cooked mushrooms. To finish, we couldn’t resist a freshly baked donut with Nutella centre. Wow, best donut I’ve had in a long while - light and fluffy. Very friendly team and great location. Look forward to trying lunch sometime soon.

Great place to have lunch. Awesome food. And really yummy home made French treats. Another point to note is that the cafe is not too noisy. It is an absolute gem of a place to meet a colleague. The ceilings are properly treated for sound and music is not too loud.

lovely place to eat. customer service is on point. the staff are so welcoming and attentive to ensure us customers enjoy our experience. staff is great especially the guy in the purple shirt, very friendly. the food is so delicious with firm prices. chefs certainly cook their kai with love. that’s what i love when i eat out :)

While the food is ok, the staff have been dismissive and a bit rude on each occasion we have been in.We saw multiple mixed up orders, and had to follow up on where our food was because it was taking so long. Scones do not take 20+ minutes to heat up, especially as it wasn't very busy.Service can take ages, so this is something to keep in mind if you don't have much time. They should be advising this at the register though.Also their hot chocolate for the hot chocolate competition was more like hot milk (not sure they actually put chocolate in tbh) and didn't really look as chocolaty as their advertising.Venue is accessible which is a plus, and it's nice and reasonably comfortable with good people watching.

Came here with an entertainment book voucher and I can say i will be back. Coffee was good, service was great and food amazing. Highly recommend A+++

Friendly service! Really yummy Sweet and Sour milkshake worth a go! Steak and Chips were really nice the wedges could have been cooked slightly less... But really awesome lunch!

Went for brunch, this venue is consistently very good. From the coffee to the food this was of high quality. The venue is clean and tidy, the service was very good. I enjoyed the salmon hash and my husband had eggs and bacon. The eggs scrambled were excellent. Make this on of your go to when visiting Lower Hutt.

We've been here several times now for breakfast, brunch and lunch. The kids really love the hot chocolates during the hot chocolate event. Fantastic service from the staff, delicious food!
