Bombay Hill Fruit Centre
I really like this place we stop every time we head South. The quality of their produce is generally excellent with great selection of fruits and vegetables. They also carry cheeses, spices, herbs, sauces and a lot of other things in what is quite a decent sized shop. They do ice creams and coffees and other things too. I haven't tried those but other seemed to enjoy them. I wish they were closer to Auckland so I could visit more often.

Bombay Hill Fruit Centre
Made my selection of what looked like some nice fruit and veggies. Went to the counter to be served. Waited and waited. The 3 staff I could see in the shop were obviously too busy to be annoyed by customers. In the end I simply walked out leave the veggies etc on the counter.Sorry for the inconvenience!!

Product is ok as long as you take your time but customer service response to the most basic of questions is non existent. I enquired as to when they are going to get particular drinks that they normally stock. This question was way too difficult to answer for at least 3 staff members in the shop and their nominated phone a friend".I received answers relating to the price of a completely different product through to the standard "I dunno". Incredible."Phone a friend" gave responses about the fact that they had new staff (I've been going there for years

The corn was thr best I've had this season. Reasonable prices. A bit scary getting off the motorway into the entrance - not much runway to slow down enough in time
