Good first visit heading north. I wouldn't park near the fence again though, near their driveway, as someone decided on their drive past in the morning, that it would be great fun to sit on the horn right behind van. Not appreciated whomever you are.

Able to walk to town. We didn't notice the traffic nice quiet place. Service station within easy walk for milk etc

Really enjoyed our stay. Good proximity to the town.One comment: wish gates could be left open in daytime as it's a difficult one for disabled. This comment applies to all NZMCA camps.

Good place to stop after getting of Ferry. Plenty of parking space but watch out for the power poles.

Great spot - walking distance to town. It's part of the racing club and we had the pleasure of watching some horse racing while we were there.
