Ordered 2 items from their website back in Dec21 and I'm still yet to receive my order. Have sent several emails with no response, tried ringing multiple times with no success either. Sorry but you shouldn't be running a business if you cannot look after your customers! Please read your emails and issue a full refund for my order. Thanks

I have emailed, called, enquired through their website after my online purchase and I have not heard a peep at all. I'm extremely disappointed in the lack of communication and in the fact that I've paid almost $200 for products and haven't heard a thing. Purchased these gifts as a birthday/anniversary present for my partner and now it's most certainly not going to get here in time. Will definitely be going to the bank if I can't get a hold of anyone to get a refund or get told where the equipment I PAID for is.Someone got in touch after this and provided me with an Order Confirmation and tracking number. Will see how it arrives.

Ordered my reel and received it next working day (Gisborne to AKL).Didn't get tracking # initially but Colin got back to me promptly with it when I asked.Great service especially before Xmas, and will now have my reel for the holidays, Cheers!

Purchases Beware, this guy does not respond to emails, phone messages or messenger services. Still waiting on purchase after 6 weeks with no communication from Discount Fishing. RIPPEDOFF!!!

As many others have found out the hard way, no items arrive and no communication... $500 down the drain. My fault for not checking these reviews. DKM are the same..... Avoid

Made an order in November 2021.One of the rods purchased, the tip snapped off on its first outing. After several attempts via email and calling I finally got through to them in March 2022. They acknowledged they had recieved my emails with explanation and pics and advised this was in the process of a warranty claim being made and they would get I touch once this happened.Fast forward and it's now end of July 2022 and I haven't heard anything and they are almost impossible to get a hold of and don't ever reply to their emails.Would be nice to get this issue sorted after 8 months..

Best prices and good shipping costs unlike other retailers. I have lived in gisborne and always relied on them on and offline sales. only issue I've had is a rod not being sent and having to follow up but if they're able to get back to online orders ASAP then their online business will get more business.The team are always helpful and friendly and down for a yarn about fishing spots and advice.

Do not deal with this merchant online. My order did not arrive so phoned discount fishing suppiles and was told none of my order was in stock and he was just about to do a refund should see it in 2 to 3 days didnt happen so rang credit card company and placed a dispute with them. Card was refunded after the credit card company got involved. Wasted a lot of my time will never deal with Discount fishing supplies again

Ordered a few items a couple weeks ago, they've taken my money and so far haven't replied to any of my emails, upon reading the reviews it would appear that many of the unhappy ones are correct, they take your cash don't send goods don't reply to emails and are probably crooks.... Who runs a business like this? I will call them tomorrow and no doubt their phone will go unanswered as a few have said in their reviews, I wish I had of read these reviews before purchasing anything. I should of known better, any online store that doesn't use PayPal is quite clearly very untrustworthy, no buyer security so I'm guessing no way to get my money back... Go with marine deals or any other shop these dudes suck
