I got SMILE last week and could not be happier! Great and friendly team, Dr. Sue is amazing! I have had a very high prescription and she explained it very well and made me aware of the risk that laser might not be working. Lucky me, it did! I highly recommend Auckland Eye!

Dr Joel Yap is very personable and takes the time to listen to and answer your questions; highly recommend seeing him.Making an appointment was a pleasant experience - the staff members helping me were very friendly accommodating in trying to help me sort out a suitable time.Only thing that could have been better was the wait time as the patient scheduled before me arrived AFTER my appointment time and was still seen before me - resulting in at least 20 minutes of waiting around.

I had laser eye surgery (Relex SMILE) in December 2020. Hands down the best decision I’ve ever made! I’m so glad that I got it done at this time in life and hopefully I’ll be able to enjoy it for many years to come. All of the check ups and measurements done prior were very thorough and they answered all my questions, putting my mind and worries at ease. Dr Dean Corbett was wonderfully calm and professional, as were the nurses, doctors and reception staff I encountered at Auckland Eye and the neighbouring Oasis Surgical. I still have moments when it feels totally surreal that I can SEE!

I HIGHLY recommend this place if you're planning on correcting your prescription! I got SMILE laser surgery done by Dr Pendergrass. Obviously, on the days leading up to surgery and the day of I was incredible nervous and crying but honestly, he did an incredible job. I had nothing to worry about. The surgery is quick and painless. Just follow the instructions and know you're in the best care ever. My eyesight is perfect now :)

This is an amazing company, often giving people 20/20 vision for the first time in their life. I had laser surgery here 20 years ago and my eye vision is still very good. This week my daughter had laser surgery here and we found the business was still as friendly welcoming and caring, as 20 years ago, with fantastic specialists. Their record keeping is top notch, they still had my records from 20 years ago in 1997. Their premises are pleasant relaxing and the lovely receptionist went out of her way to be helpful. There is plenty of parking onsite.

Not happy with the eye laser result!Go for a better clinic.Can't recommend Oasis Surgical.When things go wrong, they won't help much...

Foreign object went to my eye in the morning at work and it is quite irritating, I called Auckland Eye to make an appointment on the same day and Shantelle find a slot for me to accommodate my needs even if it is last minute.Dr Stuart Carroll checked my eye and remove the object that went to my eye. He is so accommodating and helpful, and he did a great job. He even walked with me to the reception to show and explain to me the form that I need to fill up. He also offered that he will check my eye on the same day just before the weekend if after an hour I still feel uncomfortable.I highly recommend this clinic :)

The service was amazing the nurses were very lovely and Dr Shen was quick and efficient which is exactly how I like it, however after paying out more then $500 for the operation which I was more then happy to pay as I was told of the cost before agreeing to go ahead with the operation over a month after my appointment I received an invoice for $350 for the consultation through email with the message saying that they “somehow forgot” to charge me at the time. $350 is alot of money considering the circumstances of my eye at the time I would’ve been more than happy to pay for it at the time but receiving an invoice over a month later saying that they “somehow forgot” was just ridiculous

I was recommended by my GP to see Dr David Pendergrast for eye laser surgery. I absolutely love him! He is experienced, caring and genuine. My eyes are now healing well after the laser. I can’t thank him and his team enough. I’m happy with the result and will take good care of my eyes definitely!
