Jolly Seafood Restaurant
I've been looking for a nice dimsum place. Now I'm happy to found this one. Felt quite fresh food and tasty. Looks clean and tidy. I'd love to visit again:)

Really good Yum Cha! Great service too. The food is amazing especially their charcoal salted egg custard buns! Highly recommend. Everything we ordered we couldn't find any fault with. Will be back.

One of the best yum cha places in town, but too bad they don’t seem to be doing the carts anymore. Not thing we had was bad, but other than the almond shrimp ball, everything is just average. Also, they need a better drink menu.

Jolly Seafood Restaurant
We got sweet n sour pork & combination fried noodles. The portion size of the sweet n sour was considerably smaller than other Chinese restaurants. The combination fried noodle was drenched in oil, after finishing it there was at least a 2 or 3 tea spoons of oil at the bottem of the bowl.Pretty disappointing considering the price.

It was a normal Cantonese restaurant when I came here for Dim Sum last year. It's been almost a year since last time we dined in. This time the food is much better. We really like it. The food is more authentic than most of the Cantonese restaurants in Christchurch. Will definitely come back again soon.

Ordered the 2 course peking duck, tofu/mushroom and deep fried egg noodles. Easily the best peking duck in town. Keep up the good wok.

We went for a dimsum lunch today. The shrimp dumpling and the pork congee are delicious. We also ordered seafood crispy noodles, braised beef and many more. The service is a bit slow due to too many customers.

Good dim sum for lunch. Nice clean restaurant with clean toilets. Price is more expensive than others dim sum restaurant. Staff are helpful. Dim sum are delicious but most of them are warm but not hot.There were not enough staff for busy lunch time, I guessed the food was ready in the kitchen but no staff was available to bring them out. When they arrived at the table, they were just warm to eat. Hopefully next time the food can be brought out immediately when they are ready. Otherwise, food will get cold quick.Overall is a good experience and will come back.

Super authentic Cantonese food. I am really impressed with the varieties of dishes they offer and how amazing each dish tastes. The environment reminds me of restaurants in Canton. Staff are friendly but you may need to wait a little to be served during peak times. Their food is really good with reasonable price. My favourite dim sum place in CHCH.

Food not fresh. Carrot cakes were like yesterday reheated for today. Glutinous rice were hard and tasteless. Duck skinny. Siew Mai unusually had a piece of fat pork. Century porridge had rice lumps.
