My chicken was nice but the potato and cauliflower bake was underdone, my wife ordered gluten free but as the next day proved it was anything but gluten free. Won't be back.

It is a nice restaurant but a bit expensive for what you get in terms of food. Food was never bad, don't get me wrong, just a little expensive for what was served. Drinks are also more expensive than in the pub next door, despite the beer being the exact same and the atmosphere being similar.

Can’t praise this place enough, the only good restaurant with delicious food to die for… and amazing!!! service!!!!! both crucial things present in the same restaurant, apart from ‘buster crab’ in Invercargill!!!!This place is becoming my new favourite now,Well done guys!!!!Highly recommended, give it a go!!!You won’t be disappointed!!!

Been here a few times for Sunday night dinner.Overall I would say it's very good with the chefs turning out some of the best ILT food.Bookings are a must.

My wife and I went for dinner last night and thoroughly enjoyed the surroundings, the friendly professional service and of course the food which was great and nicely presented. We would recommend The Foundry Restaurant to anyone, we also appreciated the pickup and drop off via courtesy coach and thank Kelly for organising this..

Great experience had the baked Brie entree my wife had steak which was cooked perfectly and my seafood chowder was delicious compliments to the chef. Very friendly and helpful Staff. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Made a reservation and was here again on the evening of the 14th Feb 2021.The experience was much less than I hoped for or expected to be honest.First up I would say that that staff were great. I have no issues with the manner of professionalism or courtesy of the waiting staff what so ever.However I have to say the food was very bland. It was presented well but that was it.I really found the food to be prepared in a way that - I could have done it better myself.Sauces and food generally just flavorless and boring.Fillet Mignon over cooked , king prawns over cooked ( mushy) and generally all round boring meal.I thought the seafood selection on the menu a bit mediocre to. Nothing really on it to jump out and say I want that!!"The thing that had the nicest taste was the Lemon Cheesecake dessert at the end!!⭐⭐⭐ from me and only in credit to hard working pleasant table and bar staff.For the food it would be ⭐⭐.I wont be rushing back."

Quiet restaurant with good food options and nice cocktails. Staff are friendly yet when we were in a larger group they didn't take our order for a hour. Menu needs a burger or 2
