Charmaine is amazing at what she does! She is so friendly, knowledgeable and a master at alternations. Upon trying on my wedding dress with her, she was on the floor and working at a level most alterers probably wouldn’t! Charmaine made my daughters ball dress. It looks amazing and is great quality. She made sure my daughter was comfortable in her dress and that the sequins did not scratch her anywhere.

Amazing workmanship! Charmaine altered a hand me down wedding dress for me, adding a strap and contouring to my figure. I suggested including tartan in my skirt to match my husband's kilt last minute and this was no problem for her to fit in. Exceptional communication, really fast work, very high quality! Charmaine is so lovely! I brought my ball dress in 10 days out from the occasion to get it hemmed and have the tulle cut to the correct length. The 3 stars is for the high quality of workmanship that we received.I was, however, extremely disappointed at the level of confidentiality displayed, after asking Charmaine not once but twice, clearly and politely, to keep my and my wife’s wedding dress totally separate, but instead had BOTH gowns hung up in clear view in the foyer.I had expressed to Charmaine that the dresses were both a surprise to one another for the wedding day, but unfortunately both of us got a glimpse of each others dress as it was right there in front of us when we walked in.I was then proceeded to be told about the adjustments made to my wife’s gown, which I had no interest in hearing.Being in the business of extremely delicate and confidential matters, I expected WAY better.

Just wanted to say how beautiful the alteration was to my daughters wedding dress. Charmaine really went the extra mile to get it perfect!!! Thank you again!!

Absolutely recommend Charmaine! She altered my last minute wedding dress, that was three sizes too big and now it fits perfectly. Charmaine is incredibly professional and very easy going with a can do attitude. I will be using her for events :) xx
