Efficient and friendly. The basic bike rental was a nice Giant. Made sure we were properly fitted before leaving the shop. Also gave good advice on routing.

Visited this location today to rent three ebikes. We had no idea what we were doing but the staff here were incredibly helpful. I didn't catch his name but the Irish guy working helped us so much and even offered us the 2hr rental instead of us needing to pay for the 4hr rental. All we had to do is fill out a flier and pay and we were good to go!Ebikes were $50 each for 2hrs. The trail is super easy up to the boat Cafe restaurant thing. They were very easy to use and the battery was great! Didn't run below 80%10/10 would recommend this location and the bikes they have.

Exceptional service from Vertigo Bikes. Only bike shop in the region that seems to stock rear wheel bearings for our Giant Trance. Took the bike into the shop this morning and job was done by midday. Superb result for us as we are riding the Coronet Loop track tomorrow and there was quite a bit of play in the rear wheel. These guys are outstanding.

Vertigo are the best bike shop in town bar none. Quick effecient and attentive service (Thanks to The Lion). They try to fit you in for a repair even when they're crazy busy and go above and beyond of what is asked of them. Great range of bikes on sale and top of the range rentals. See you next time, Chris at Absoloot.

Vertigo wasn’t the cheapest bike hire in town, but for the quality of the gear, and service, it can’t be beat.I took a half day package of bike, gear and gondola pass, and had an absolute blast– one of the best things I’ve done in 4 visits now to this area. They quickly fitted me up with the bike and gear, provided great advice on the trails to use and avoid, and then pointed me just up the hill to the gondola. In 4 hours I managed 7 rides, and they made clear they were in no hurry to get the bike back.Service was relaxed, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Highly recommended for the experienced or (like me) careful and modest MTBer.

Great service, friendly staff. Everything worked effortlessly. You will have your bike set up in no time. Particularly great if you're going to the skyline mtb park, the gondola is just a 5 min walk away.

Friendly and helpful staff. We rented two e-mountain bikes for the day. Super easy transaction and great equipment. It was $79 for a four hour rental, including the helmet. Great way to see Queenstown and the surrounding area. The shop supplies a map and suggestions as to where to go.

They where able to hook me up with full gear and a Downhill bike within less than 10 minutes of me walking in without any form of appointment. The staff was very helpful, friendly and gave good advice on what trails at Queenstown skyline MTB park would fit my skill level.I'll go with them again when I come back to Queenstown.

At $39 per hardtail mountain bike for an afternoon, it’s perfect for my son and I to tackle the gentle 30km round trip along the Queenstown Frankton trail, that takes you around the golf course opposite the township. The service from the 2 guys today is very friendly and accommodating. The bikes are more than adequate and they have a huge and diverse range of bike rental options, including guided tours. They also give out a helpful map of trails in the area, with difficulty and fitness levels etc.Our bikes are clean, and well serviced, although both of them needed the gears tweaked to make the shifting a little more responsive and precise, which we passed on to them upon our return. The bikes were noted for servicing and we were thanked for our feedback, so presumably they were indeed given a quick tune up in this area. This is the beauty of renting bikes from a bike shop (versus your accommodation etc)- they are able to quickly service the bikes when they need attention. My suggestion would be to take your bike for a short ride and see how the gear changes and brakes are performing, and then ask the guys to give them a tweak if required, as it usually only requires a few twists of the cable adjusters to get them in tune, and they will know exactly how to do this.
