Online application was submitted on 14 May and still haven't received the new passport yet, we are flying to overseas in two weeks time and I have been trying the call center numbers in the last two days, most of the time it just disconnected, one time I got through but it hang up on me after 40 minutes wait, this is what our government is doing at moment, they still use Covid as excuses and shut down the passport office ( it's still showing open on DIA's website), what a joke!!! Multiple emails sent and no reply, it's very very frustrating!!!

I applied to renew my passport on Monday, August 15, and I got it today, August 18. I assumed I would receive it in a month or so because I selected standard delivery. But, wow! I'd like to thank whoever processed my passport. Really, really grateful. I suppose my first time around, luck has finally been on my side. THANK YOU!

Absolutely unacceptable - I've waited two hours on the phone expecting anyone to answer my queries; no one ever did. The automated message kept saying, please stay on the line - your call is important to us". Clearly

What a joke. It's taken 1 month, 3 weeks and I still haven't received my passport. I've emailed multiple times and called multiple times, both with no answer. Every time I call I am met with the answer machine.COVID is no excuse, people need passports to fly international (I am supposed to fly next week) which will have been 2 months since I have applied and still not got my passport.

I needed an urgent passport within 24hours. After completing the passport application online I went into the Parnell office. Both online and in person the team were incredibly helpful. As if by miracle the team were able to get me a new passport within 6-8 hours! Massive shoutout to Ana who was helping me and to the team who work on reception/ security - Really impressed and thankful that you saved my holiday!

Book an apt before you go so there's no stress and no need for a return visit. The staff are helpful and friendly. Mediea was wonderful to deal with she's experienced and yet flexible and so friendly. I have been there twice, and maybe I've been lucky, but I got a parking spot both times without drama yay

Absolutely incompetent. My partner ordered his passport at the end of last month (before the one month processing delay was announced) and he STILL has not received it despite them promising to post it as soon as possible for 3 weeks straight now. We have phoned every day and been met with a disconnected call or have had to wait 1.5 hours to speak to someone. Flights have skyrocketed in price since then and our planned trip may not even happen because of this unnecessary delay. Absolutely ridiculous and completely unacceptable from a government agency. Using COVID as a reason for delay is absolute nonsense.
