The pìlot vehicle crashed into our vehicle and didn't stop when we were actually ready for the lights to change it was on queens st Papakura approximately 1.25 today

Good trail, a bit of climbing here and there but I'd say one of the easier routes we've taken, you do have to be a reasonably fit hiker for this area, we completed about 17kms of the North/South, Henderson's Loop track and Old Kaimai Road, some deep ruts, sloppy ground due to weather and some wash out here and there, quite a few stream passes that can be rather slippery depending on recent weather but it was still very passable with slightly alternative cut throughs, one or two look outs along the way and plenty of camping spots if you are tramping and camping this area.
