Chartwell is a great place to go if you want to avoid big crowds, but we were very disappointed with the choice of movies during the school holidays. There was little to choose from for the primary school age child and when the grandchildren were so excited to go to the movies we felt we had let them down when they didn't get some decent choices.

Good sound and cinema size with plenty of parking on same level as food court and cinemas. Lifts, stairs or escalator access to cinema so everyone can access them too even with limited mobility. Probably the best cinema in Hamilton

Four of us watched Argonauts adventurous about a brave little mouse and the other two watched Super Mario Bros action packed and adventurous it was fun for them we all ordered popcorn and drinks if your big family like us get yourself family popcorn and drinks package $35 2 x popcorn & 4 x Drinks toilet facilities are nice and clean.Easy to book your tickets onlineOr go earlyer to get tickets to avoid a massive queue staff are helpful as and friendly. We parked in the undercover parking area plenty of parking chartwell has a great layout and is friendly environment

Our favourite cinema in town. We watched a 10.50am movie today. Theatre was clean, no long queues, and they have GREAT ICE CREAMS. Nice, friendly staff. Good reward system too.

I have been to this cinema two times and the staff are friendly, the prices are certainly cheaper than Hoytz for the same content and among the cheapest in Hamilton. I love the kindness of the staff here and they do anything they can to help you. However at the moment I am writing this message I was trying to call them as I had a question on one of the discounted tickets and when I press one to speak to a staff member, it says this key is not valid". This is just unacceptable as it says I must do it to contact someone and I am unable to do so. Then after 3 times it says my call cannot be transferred. I want to know what is this issue and can it be fixed?"

Great place... Nice, clean n tidy. Service with a smile and even helped my friend with her Event card by checking on the system for her details. I know some places that wouldn't offer to help even tho they could.. Keep up the great service team! Definitely be going back...

Went to see the Spideman film with my nieghbour - film was good. The people at the front were helpful and friendly - we got ice ceams. There was only another 2 people in the cinema with us, I had expected more. The place was nice and clean and the seats were comfy

Been here twice this year and still pleasantly surprised at how cheap it is for family deals. Cinema 2 screen seemed a bit fuzzy and the sound not as crisp didn't matter much transformers were still rocking it
