Awesome Adventures Hokianga

This is how tourism should be done. Lenny and Antoinette are super friendly and have a wealth of information on the area. Family had a blast on the kayaks and jetskis. Flying fish looked super fun for the kids.

Len and Antoinette are so welcoming and warm and love to share their culture and food with you right on the beach. Would highly recommend a trip on the jetski or a kayak to get over to the sand dunes. Great day spent, thanks both!

Antoinette and Lenny are amazing! From the short notice organizing of a Kaimoana tour through to the execution of the actual Jetski tour it has been a pleasure. Lenny has an amazing amount of knowledge and insight into the area and a great and fun way of guiding the tour. Fishing for mussels and pippies (whilst originally very cold waters ☺) has been one of my favourite experiences to date and matched with the fun of riding a jetski around the bay and and ocean was fantastic. Cannot recommend this enough ! Thank you again for an amazing experience!!

Wow Wow Wow!What an adventure. This was one of the highlights of our trip to New Zealand! Both Lenny and Antoinette were so welcoming we wished we could of stayed longer!!!2 adventures and we were hooked!!!Day 1 Amazing fishing -Lenny knew the hot spots and delivered excitement and entertainment for the afternoon. Then the man continued to impress with a delicious meal of fresh cooked on the bbq, some sashimi along with sides prepared by Antoinette and her visiting mother. Everything was beyond our expectations!!Day 2 We went to the dunes. Amazing must do!! Speed, sun, surf, a bit of culture and fresh mussels to splurge on while taking a rest! 4 wheelers were a blast and an experience we won't ever forget. Lenny continued to impress with fresh mussel chowder, grilled ribs and more amazing sides!!!Next morning before we left Lenny treated my nephew to a quick jet ski experience! All these personal touches, pride of their piece of paradise and their humbleness to please you each minute of your stay- I can't stay it loud enough- You won't ever get an experience anywhere else like you get with Lenny and Antoinette!!!

We went out on the jet skis as a whānau. Our youngest was 8, and eldest in their 40’s and we all had the best time! Quick run down of rules and driving instructions, and then we were off racing and doing donuts on the Hokianga Harbour. Upon returning our life jackets back to Lenny’s, he had prepared smoked fish and hot chips for our whānau, and invited us in to eat. Such an awesome man (as well as his family) with a huge heart who gives a lot to make sure customers/guests feel welcomed, and feel of the manaakitanga that he (and his family) has. We left feeling like whānau.

The most fantastic experience I've had in years, Leonard has an infinite passion to show all the Hokianga has to offer, breathtaking!The guys at awesome adventures went above and beyond, I'll never forget the experience! Thanks fellas, I'll be back!

Awesome adventures Hokianga took us to some fabulous places in the Hokianga Harbour, and showered us in hospitality. Both Leonard and Antoinette are lovely people who know heaps about the area and are passionate to tell you all about it, while taking care of you as if you were the king and queen. Their jetski's, paddleboards and kayaks are in very good condition. I would certainly recommend them!

Six of us had an absolutely spectacular day on Jet Skis up the Hokianga Harbour. Few of us had ridden jet skis before, but if you listen to what you're told nothing can go wrong really. Lots more confidence by the time we got to Horeke and heaps of fun. Remember to lather up on the sunscreen though - and don't forget the lips!!! (Like I did) Len and Antoinette are great hosts and it was lovely to sit down and review the day with them at the end. When the world opens up again we plan to come back with our overseas family.

Best place in NZ by far. Great hosts Antoinette and Lenny. Fantastic adventures on jetskis and kayaks. Unbelievable food. We'll be back for more. Love it. Thanks a million

We were a group of adults who were looking at doing some activities while we were up in the Hokianga. We found Awesome Adventures Hokianga (AAH) and formed an instant connection through genuine conversation with them. The packages they have on offer are very affordable as well as educational BUT for me their manaaki/give hospitality to, was priceless. The way they CARED and CONNECTED with us, made us feel at home (they even invited me into their own home - when returning their life vest and offered me a drink and kai/food). I personally will be booking AAH for when I take my whanau/family up to re-connect. As a team we will be looking at ways to get the rangatahi we work with involved in this experience. There is a Maori proverb that sums up my thoughts: Manaaki whenua, manaaki tangata, haere whakamua - Care for the land, care for the people, go forward.
