BestStart Parnell

Great team of teaching staff who put a lot of thoughts into the daily activities to help the children learn through different experiences. A relatively small centre so it feels like home, and not too overwhelming for the children.

Our daughter has been going here since she was about 3 and a half months. It was a very big decision for us and we are glad we chose this place. It is out of the way for us now, but we are continuing here because she is very happy and enjoys and learns with her wonderful teachers and friends. Would highly recommend Beststart Parnell :)

Our little boy has been going to BestStart Parnell since last year. He loves going to his kindy and that clearly shows us that he’s been loved and taken care of. We have massive respect for all the teachers there for the awesome job they do. Can’t thank them enough.

Our son has been in Best Start Parnell since August 2017 when we moved to New Zealand. Being in a new country, as a parent, you worry about making the right decision for your baby's daily care & learning, this was not the case the moment I stepped onto the premises. Right away you can tell that all the children in their care feel safe, loved and supported in their vital growing years. The incredible staff have done more than words could ever describe for my son. He loves going to Kindi each morning and I am at ease everyday knowing that he is in safe hands.

I have nothing but praise for the team at First Steps Parnell. My son has been there since he was 6 months old and is thriving in the centre. His teachers are so involved and encourage him in his development. He loves his time at the centre and because he is so happy I know that he is taken care of. It is not easy to leave your baby for a full day but since day one, I can see the committment each member of the team has in ensuring my boy is well cared for. I will happily recommend this centre to anyone who asks.

Best daycare for us!On top of the heuristic play, good food practices (no sugars), lovely environment where kids mingle and discover, celebration of every culture present there..., they were so accommodating to our needs, allowing us to visit and spend many many hours and days there for a gentle transition/ settling into the nursery life, supporting us with our cloth nappy practice then early EC and potty training.What helped me choose them and leave my son in their care, over two years ago, was seeing babies repeatedly going for cuddles and always finding open arms with the teachers, sometimes they would be on the floor with a pile of under one year olds on top of them. That reassured me so much, if babies feel this love for them, they must be genuinely loving them back and caring for them I thought, and two years in we know that’s the case.
