Manaaki Centre - Curate Cares Community Centre

How do you rate a church? Kinda weird, but I so love it here I thought I would. My family and I have been going here for just over a year. We found it incredibly welcoming with numerous people taking time to introduce themselves and talk with us, help us get seated, etc. They provide free lattes or long/short blacks and the coffee teams are very consistent and super friendly. The services are run really well and in a timely consistent fashion. The messages are almost always on point, relative, include great examples and things you can take away and apply to your life if you so choose. Worship is fantastic, very professional yet not showy, really accessible, grounded and engaging. Not to loud but if you have little ones they have ear muffs to protect their ears. Fantastic kids church, youth, intermediates and young adults ministries as well as stuff for families, singles, etc. They also provide a program called grow that lets you find your spiritual and personality functions and then show you where you could join a team in the church to serve that matches you. They don't try to put you somewhere just because they need people. We absolutely love it here and highly recommend it.

Amazing people, welcoming atmosphere and a true heart for worship

A church for anyone to come and visit or come and become all you were made to be! Friendly and inviting.

I've visited quite a few churches in Tauranga and this church would have to be one at the top. Very friendly people who will make anyone feel welcomed.The speaker was clear and easy to understand, and the message was thoughtful.The Coffee's are delicious and there always seems to be a treat to eat.I attended this church on Mother's Day, and the effort put into making Mum's feel special was amazing. There were balloons and confetti, cupcakes and gifts.Well done Curate Tauranga, Highly recommend.

Nice friendly people who aren't too pushy. Meetings are short and sweet and they have facilities for different age grouped kids and youth.

Wonderful people. Very welcoming and genuine. They go out of their way to make this a place you want to come back to.
