Had a great experience with Touchdown car rentals. The vehicle I hired was a Subaru Forrester and was in great condition. The staff member I interacted with was Ken. He’s a great bloke and was super helpful. He really went to great lengths to provide amazing customer service. Highly recommend.

The best service. From organising, pick up to return. David Entwistle was very helpful and patient. I have rented cars from different big brand rentals, but Touchdown provides dedicated services. If we are travelling in the South Island again, Touchdown definitely will be our first choice. I hope Touchdown can operate in other NZ cities.

Fantastic company with the best service and cheapest price. We hired a great small car for 14 days of travel at the best price. the company came and collected us from the Queenstown Airport in about 2 minutes. Their garage was about another 3 min drive away. Super friendly service with great suggestions of places to visit on our trip. We extended our trip and they gave us the extra days at the same great price. Once I returned home I needed a business receipt and after a quick email they returned emailed with the receipt almost instantly.Highly recommend this company.

Positive: Drop off in Queenstown,-town is great. Smooth processThe Negative:1. Specifically booked the Mini countryman with confirmation. Booked a month in advance. I went with Touchdown for the Mini, instead was given a Toyota hybrid X which is not what I wanted or needed, frustrating as had I known that I would not get the Countryman I would of went for something cheaper or with another company2. I asked multiple times to be picked up from the Airport hotel at 9:00am as I had an appointment at 10:30. 45min drive away. They kept saying pick up time 9:30am end result pick up time was 9:50 after multiple calls and arrived at the appointment over 30min late3. Sat Nav in the vehicle which was very new was not connected/subscribed. Luckily Ken gave me his Sat NavPlease & I mean please get the communication right. I emailed multiple times for confirmation to be sure everything went to plan
