Compact but cozy place for movies like phantom thread. Suitable for couples, seniors or even alone.You can order food or drinks and bring them into the cinema. The sofa-seats are lovely.

A smaller cinema, but the seating was excellent and the video and audio was clear. They only have confectionery, drinks, and a few things in the fridge, no popcorn.

Lighthouse Cinema Cuba may just be my new favourite place to catch a movie!. On a recent visit to Wellington my daughter and I (both avid movie fans!) popped in to see a movie we were both very much looking forward to seeing. I loved the intimacy of the exclusive small theater with super comfortable couches, seats, and cushions all adding to the relaxed, homely yet elegant atmosphere. We even chatted to the few other patrons who were there before and after the film. It was just lovely! I Highly Recommend a visit if you're in the Capital and I look forward to returning :)

I was visiting Wellington and unfortunately it was a rainy day and stumbled across this cinema. It was very cute with sofa like chairs. The only downside is that they don't sell popcorn but other than that it was definitely a good way to spend time (especially when it rains)

Love love love lighthouse!! I go every week to see a new release and the staff and atmosphere is all so so lovely! Often I go alone which could be quite intimidating but it’s always a wonderful experience!!

Very nice cinema. The seats are like couches /mini sofas. The movie theatre is nice and cozy. For senior citizens every Wednesday it's free coffee and $11.50 tickets. Very enjoyable little place. Loved the experience !
